Sundays at SEP start slowly. After a crazy week of camp, both camper and counselors will have all morning to just relax. Counselors will deliver breakfast to their campers in the form of bagels, cream cheese, and orange juice. It's a lazy Sunday morning at SEP.
In the afternoon, 9-11 will begin the trivia challenge. The camp will be randomly sorted into ten teams, which will then go from room to room answering a series of trivia questions. After the initial ten rounds, all teams will converge on the auditorium where the top three groups will compete in the grueling final trivia round.
While 9-11 is flexing their minds, 5-8 will be out in the sun, enjoying field day! Each suite is pared up with an opposite gender suite of comparable age to compete in six events, including the sponge challenge, dizzy bat race, and the gold fish race. The winning team will get a chance to pelt their counselors with water balloons!
Late in the afternoon, 9-11 will meet up with 5-8 for the only time in the session for the Sunday barbecue. Campers will hang out together, playing games, running around, and enjoying a delicious buffet of hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and other classic BBQ foods.
When the food is gone, the camps will split up once again. 5-8 will head to the auditorium to watch a movie together, while 9-11 conducts their own field day.
