The word of the day was "rain," as hard showers hit Charlottesville from dawn to dusk. Both camps did their best to adapt, skipping pool day yet again and rushing out of O-Hill to beat an incoming storm.
In lieu of evening activities and rec time, 5-8 played a fun game of "sack of junk." To play the game, each suite fills up a pillowcase with assorted items from their hall, then heads to the auditorium where the counselors read a series of categories. The team with an item in their sack that best fits the category wins that round.
9-11 was lucky enough to conduct their field day preparations indoors. Each team decided on a name, a chant, and a banner. Check out the pictures below to see what they came up with!
They ended the night with the first ever SEP beauty pageant. Check back in the next few days for a more thorough report of that outstanding event.
