Special Report: Skits

Counselors are grouped in pairs, called "walking counselors," to escort campers to their morning and afternoon classes. On the first three days of camp, as well as the last day, walking counselors introduce their class with a short skit.

In each skit, the walking counselors act out an absurd situation, leading to a phrase that sounds similar to the name of their class, and ending with the SEP classic phrase: "Wait...It's not [what we just said], it's [name of the class]. Skits are integral to the SEP experience, adding a splash of fun and goofiness to the otherwise unexciting task of walking to class.

Some examples from today:

It's not "tweens and their newfound mulcher,"
it's "Zines and the Underground Print Culture!"

It's not "Grayson's anatomical critique,"
it's "Modern Analytical Techniques!"

It's not "Buick pregnancy," it's "Music and Creativity!"
